
His Excellency Abdullah Sultan Abdullah, General Secretary of the UAE FCCI, met with His Excellency Argon Bahadore Thaba, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Nepal to the UAE. During the meeting means of improving commercial exchange and investment cooperation between the two countries were discussed.
At the beginning of the meeting The General Secretary welcomed the Nepalese ambassador. He also welcomed the proposal to enhance economic cooperation between the two countries and support the business of corporations and organizations in a way that will improve the commercial exchange between the two countries. He expressed the readiness of the UAE FCCI to support industrial and agricultural companies willing to market their products in the UAE.
He said that the UAE boasts a prominent position in international economic quarters and its influence extends to the GCC countries, that are striving to set up a GCC common market and have ties based on mutual interests with all countries of the world.
He added that the UAE is keen on the success of its economic policy and to create the means to reinforce commercial and investment partnerships with Asian countries in general and Nepal in particular.
On his part, the Nepalese ambassador called on the UAE business and investment sector to invest in Nepal and utilize the available investment opportunities in all sectors of the economy. He lauded the huge economic growth of the UAE and the UAE economic accomplishments that were achieved in a relatively short time. He pointed out that his country is trying to lure UAE investments and utilize the expertise of UAE companies in economic development and activating the role of the private sector in investment projects.
