General Assembly
According to the above law, the federation consists of
the chambers of commerce and industry existing in the U.A.E. Starting from
the ambitions of the FCCI to realize its aims in accordance with the next
stage, the FCCI has adopted many mechanisms of work. Some of them are:
- Activate and announce the activities and functions of the FCCI on the internal and external levels. Directly affecting the economic policies directed on achieving economic boom in order to win the admiration of the officials since the FCCI has a complementary role to the federal government and its institutions.
- To Coordinate activities of the UAE Chambers of Commerce and Industry and unify their efforts in order to ensure the achievement of the objectives for which it was established.
- To support and enhance the capacity of the chambers of commerce due to the fact that the activities and the vitality of the FCCI is in the end the result of the total activities and vitalities of the numerous chambers . This could be carried out through field visits to the chambers headquarters in all emirates.
- Enhancing and developing administrative, technical and financial capacities by using modern technology that, in turn, reflects the futuristic vision of the FCCI.
- Contributing to the development of the administrative aspect of the business sector and help train and qualify the necessary manpower so as to provide job opportunities for UAE youth.
- Activate and highlight treaties between the UAE and other countries so as to improve the commercial and industrial sectors.
- Highlight and reinforce the importance of the role of business and its contribution to the social and economic development to all sectors of the society through the work of the permanent committees and developing skills on the other hand (specialized training, providing recent reliable information, supporting small sized and medium sized projects, encouraging all forms of merger and contracts between companies, attracting foreign investments, etc) .
- Work to improve exports as well as internal trade and promoting joint gulf industry, in addition to assisting businessmen adapt with all the changes in the local and international markets.
- Activating cooperation with Arab, Gulf and international economic organizations, particularly, those that have direct bearing on the UAE. To ensure the activation of the cooperation protocols in order to make full use of the potentials of these organizations in developing the performance of the chambers in holding meetings, research and studies, training and information technology.
- Publish research and studies on UAE economies as well as bulletins and specialized publications that aims to develop economic awareness.

On the Internal Level
During the last years, the FCCI has sought to develop its activities so as to achieve part of the aims set by the Federation law, taking into consideration the new developments that the process of economic development is undergoing. The most important achievements of the FCCI during these years were the modernization of all its administrations through computerizing the administrations and connecting them to the internet, in addition to launching its website on the net. The achievements and the activities of the FCCI were also evident in holding many meetings particularly the joint ministerial committees and the businessmen councils. Many important decisions were made particularly those related to activating the work of businessmen councils and the protocols of cooperation with other countries in addition to the decision of establishing administrations for the Emarati national committee for the international Trade Chamber.

Abroad
The FCCI continues its efforts in the field of contribution in conferences,
meetings, forums and technical meetings on all aspects (gulf, Arabic, regional
and international) in an effort to achieve coordination and integration between
all economic sectors and in the way that serves the aims for which the FCCI was
founded.
